Mortgage companies pay different sales taxes in each state. All this information can be stored within ValueLink for records and taxation purposes. To add state details, follow the steps below:
1. Log on to your ValueLink Appraisal Management System account.
2. Click on Admin at the top of the Dashboard to access Company Settings.
3. Scroll down and click on the State Details tab on the left sidebar.
4. On the Manage State Details screen to Set the Sales Tax Rate just enter the rales tax rate in the given space for the state.
5. Click on the Engagement Terms button to enter state-specific appraiser engagement terms that you would like to add to any orders placed in that state.
6. Click on Save State Details at the bottom of your screen to save the changes.
