An administrator can set up staff workload. To understand how to set up staff workload please follow the steps below:
1. Log on to your ValueLink Appraisal Management System account.
2. Click on Admin at the top of the dashboard
3. Scroll down and click on Users & Permissions followed by Manage Staff Workload on the left side menu to access the Manage Staff Workload screen.
4. On the Manage Staff Workload screen, the following steps will need to be followed:
Step 1: Select Staff Role – in this step, the staff role which will determine workload will need to be selected here.
Step 2: Select Distribution Mechanism – Here the workload can be distributed by either percentage or geography.
Step 3: Set Workload Percentage or Set Geographic Workload – In this step depending on the selection made in Step 2 you will be required to assign the workload by percentage or by Geography.
If you have selected the option of "Set Workload Percentage," then you will need to specify the percentage of workload that each staff member will be responsible for, ensuring that the total percentage adds up to 100%.
If you have selected the option of "Set Geographic Percentage," then you will need to specify the workload that each staff member will be responsible for geographically.
Once you are content with your changes click on the Save Settings button.
5. A Client User has the ability to set up their own Workload or use the Workload set up by the AM, for a client to set up a workload for you will need to go to the client profile and select the client you wish to set up the workload for:
- In the Admin section select Clients to open the Manage Client Section.
- Select the Client to open the Manage Client Information Screen.
- On the Manage Client Information Screen Scroll down to the Staff Assigment Details and click on Manage Staff Assignment
- On the Manage Staff Assignment: interface you will be given two options"
A) Assign Selected Account Representative for this client - Selecting this option you will be able to set up the workload for the client.
B) Assign Account Representative Automatically using Company-defined workload – Selecting this option will automatically use the workload set up by the AMC.
- In this scenario, we will select an Assign Selected Account Representative for this client.
- Next, the Account Representative and Staff user will need to be selected in the Add Staff Users and Workload and Click the green Add user.
- Once you have assigned the staff users their roles you will need to select the percentage of workload for each user ensuring that the total percentage per rep adds up to 100%.
When satisfied with the assigned workload click on the green Save button to Save the Workload. After which you would receive a green successful notification.
